Four days from May 16 to September 20, 2012, the Cuc Phuong Turtle Conservation Programme in collaboration with Small Carnivore Program, Endangered Primates Rescue Center has conducted a short training for two rangers from Quang Tri FPD on identification skills of Vietnam tortoises, small carnivores, primates. In this training, participants are also provided additional basic skills on initial rescue of tortoises, small carnivores, primates after confiscated them, how to take care and treatment for injured individuals, re-cover their health before re-released back to nature or transferred to Conservation Rescue Centers. After short-term training courses, two rangers from Quang Tri FPD will strengthen and improve professional level on tortoise, small carnivore, primate identification that helps wildlife protection in Vietnam.
